I sold my PS2, along with all of my games over a month ago. I am now, for the first time in over a decade, without a game console. It feels pretty good. Except for maybe when baby goes away for the weekend with her sisters and leaves me to my own devices for a few days. Especially now that its too cold to bike.
Video games are a great source of entertainment. Don’t get me wrong. But I have to confess that ther were many many nights when I played say, Resident Evil until 4am until I beat the game. That kind of feeling.
In short, I am out. I have sworn off the video games.
