We Support Floyd Landis (Part II)

I guess folks are finding ihavethe.info because of my post about Floyd Landis from last week before this whole doping thing blew up.

um…welcome.

I still support Flyod Landis. If you do, I recommend checking out this post on a site called Knowledge Problem. The abridged version of this post is: an accurate and even handed representation of science and statistics are not exactly the media’s strong suit.

Spectacle on the other hand…that shit sells!

They mention TDF blog as another good source of news on this weird twist in the 2006 Tour De France. Probably better reading than me on this topic.

And TDF blog points to a blog that goes into pretty good depth regarding possible issues with testing called Free Floyd Landis.

Maybe me linking to them will get me out of the top 5 search returns on google for “We Support Floyd Landis”. I’m currently #3. 1 above Floydlandis.com.

I guess they have bigger fish to fry than natural search results right now.

Movies That Are Good(that I’ve watched recently)

A Scanner Darkly, Dir. Richard Linklater. The rotoscoping perfectly captures the drugged out vibe of Phillip K Dick’s whacked out near future California.(In Theaters)

Cache Dir. Micheal Haneke. Methodically paced, disturbing and brilliant. I also recommend his film Code Unknown.(on video)

Why We Fight Dir. Eugene Jarecki. People really ought to get more upset about all the ‘liberated’ Iraqi civilians who happen to also be dead now, for more reasons then I am going to go into in a blog post about movies I’ve seen and appreciated.(on video).

The Conversation Dir. Francis Ford Coppola. The greatest movie Coppola ever made, hands down. A simple movie about how technology can reveal and obscure the truth. A simple movie about what you bring to experiencing media can reveal and obscure the truth.(on TIVO).
