magnum pi, originally uploaded by chris_mckenna.

So um….funny thing with those Flickr tags. I posted up this self portrait to my account and tagged it ‘Hathaway products’. This got split to ‘Hathaway’ and ‘Products’.
I noticed that this photo had a bunch more views then the other.

So when you look for other photos tagged ‘Hathaway’. You get lots of pix of Anne Hathaway….and me.

Sorry about that people looking for Anne Hathaway on flickr, finding my double chin and expansive moustache.

I’ve Heard of Throwing Yourself at Men…

But this is ridiculous…Slash hilarious.

Lilly McElroy throws herself at men. Best thing I have seen on BoingBoing in a while.

In Which the Gaps in my Fitness Become Evident.

inshapecatcopyvi.jpg

So I have been on the bike alot less then I would like since August, when I started having alot of pain on my left side. Including not riding for almost all of October, November, and most of December of last year. You could say I let myself go. Like heaviest I have been in 4 years go.

So my chiropractor is making encouraging noises. I’ve been on the rollers a bit. Save for the last week, when I was hacking up a lung.

Anyway, I kind of couldn’t take it anymore, so I went out for Sunday rides 2 weeks ago and yesterday.

Two weeks ago the choice quote was from my man AW: ‘Did you split your pants?”

This week, which I am hoping is the bottom, but expect is probably not: I went on a Art Museum group ride. Easy pace. About 20-25 miles in, we got to a road I know well and I could have peeled off and headed home, but I had time to spare, so I kept with the group. We get to Saw Mill road. I am told that this is going to be the big climb of the ride. Its actually a climb broken into 3 parts. First 2 parts everything goes ok. I noticed that I was a little tight in the abdomen. I figured it was nothing, related to my injury. Bad assumption. I was cramping. Halfway up the third climb, I crack spectacularly. I got seriously light headed, simultaneously dry heaving and coughing. I get passed by a women who probably didn’t stick with the pack on the first climb. She win’s the quote of the day with: “Do you have asthma?”

Another guy bringing up behind her asks me if I am ok. I say “no, I’m really lightheaded.” He tells me “Just get off the bike. right now.” And for some reason, I listen to him. I fall over on some rich person’s lawn and lay there for what may have been 30 seconds or 15 minutes. Then I got up, find my way to route 3 and ride home alone.

Count Down to Season 4

I’m a total Lost nerd. I’ve already read all the spoilers for the first 8 episodes.

Two. maybe three times.
