Did Memorial Hall Crit this weekend. This was the first pack bicycle race I ever took a stab at two years ago.
That time I got dropped about 7 laps in, and was pulled from the course not long after. So things could only get better this go round.
They did. Although, not tremendously. I think there were 60+ starters. They placed up to 47. I took 34th.
There was lots of the accordion effect, as I was not on the front very much (ie a lap and a half out of 32?). Good interval workout. Its a shame a race isn’t so much the place for that. :)
I race again in June. That’s all I got.

Hey I was there. Well… I was there taking pictures.
I’m a wuss and decided not to race. I thought it would rain. And I thought it’d be a hairy course. I really regret it now; turned out to be the perfect day and the cleanest 4 corners I’d see this season. Damn.
My girlfriend raced. Even though we haven’t done a group ride all year she raced. Much more of a man than me.
